Quiche


This is a French recipe for quiche taken from an old newspaper clipping.

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces swiss cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 8 slices of crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • a dash of pepper
  • two 9-inch pie shells
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of half-and-half


Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix cheese and flour together
  3. Add half-and-half, eggs, bacon, salt and pepper.  Mix
  4. Pour half of mixture into each pie shell and bake for 45 minutes
